The last one - KDE 4.8.3 was fine as well It was a known problem and was fixed/healed/cured in the KDE 4.7.x release. IIRC there was a problem once with Dolphin in 4.6x when the file manager would crash due to some problem with strigi and nepomuk. Dolphin is still happily falling over - even after a reboot. ![]() I was wondering if the lib file in today’s updates - 15:52:40|install|libxml2|2.7.8+git20110708-3.8.1|x86_64||repo-update| - would fix the nuisance but it didn’t. I disabled nepomuk and the crashing stopped. After the update of a couple of days ago (13th June) Dolphin crashes when right clicking on a file or trying to left click and drag a file to another dolphin pane. ![]()
